A SHORT BUT PROMISING HISTORY

From Stockholm to Toronto
Mediaplanet was founded in Stockholm by Richard Båge and Rustan Panday in 2002. Today we are the world-leading publisher of consumer motivating, special-interest information, distributed via print, online and broadcast. We operate from 20 offices in 15 countries, on two continents boasting 290 dedicated and entrepreneurial employees.

The international expansion commenced in 2004 as we opened our offices in Norway and the UK. The following year we continued our zealous efforts with Helsinki and Copenhagen. In 2006 we established Mediaplanet divisions in Zürich, Amsterdam and Berlin, followed by Milan, Brussels, New York and Tallinn in 2007. In 2008 we advanced with Warsaw, Bratislava, Malmö and Lausanne on our list of merits and in 2009 we have opened offices in Chicago, Toronto, Hamburg and Los Angeles. We are proud of our consequent growth, but not satisfied – our ambition is to continue writing new Mediaplanet success stories in markets not yet tapped.
