The best thing about my job is that it is a lot of variety since I need to be both a sub editor and an Adobe specialist. I do everything from sub-editing texts and researching delivered material to creating cover texts and page production. I see my job as creative, inspiring and always fun, and I learn not just one, but a lot of new things every day depending on what subject I am editing.

I start the day with checking my inbox; I have never worked at a company where you get so many e-mails as at Mediaplanet. Besides editing the current paper, I do layout for ads and information letters. It can be a bit hectic when you are about to finish a paper and at the same time you have to layout last-minute ads, track down the Project Managers for photo bylines and sometimes a late article. There is never a slow period or day, since we get additional papers and material to produce for other Mediaplanet companies whenever we have the capacity.
