All Hail the Infographic

The visual content marketing rage is validated in science. Sixty-five percent of people are visual learners. Pairing text with visual components makes your content more memorable. In fact, when people hear information, they're likely to remember only 10 percent of it three days later. But if that same information is paired with a relevant image, they will retain 65 percent of it three days later.

 
Infographics quickly grab a user’s attention. Articles with images get 94 percent more total views than stories that lack a visual component. Research also shows that when images are relevant, people will spend more time studying them than they will reading text. But “relevancy” is a key word. The same study found that users will ignore “fluffy” images that aren’t relevant to the subject matter.
 
Infographics not only improve your engagement stats, they can also help you connect with new customers and prospects. Infographics are “liked” and shared three times more on social media than any other form of content.
